Do you offer a free consultation?
How Do I Get Started?
The first step is scheduling a free 15-minute consultation. This allows us to briefly connect, discuss your needs, and determine if working together is a good fit before beginning therapy.
What happens during the consultation?
We’ll discuss what brings you to therapy, your goals, and answer any questions you may have about services, approach, and next steps.
Yes. I offer a complimentary 15-minute virtual consultation for all new clients.
Are you currently accepting new clients?
Yes. I am currently accepting new virtual clients located in New Jersey.
Do you offer virtual therapy?
Yes. All sessions are currently offered virtually for clients residing in New Jersey.
Sessions & Services
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. I work with select insurance plans and also offer private-pay services. Insurance eligibility and coverage will be reviewed during the free consultation.
What are your self-pay rates?
Rates are discussed during the free consultation to ensure transparency before scheduling ongoing sessions.
Which insurance plans do you work with?
I currently work with or accept plans associated with the following networks: Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey Aetna Cigna Quest Behavioral Health Carelon Behavioral Health For UnitedHealthcare, I am able to submit claims on your behalf. Coverage and reimbursement depend on your specific plan.
When is payment due?
Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise discussed.
What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept major credit and debit cards. HSA and FSA cards may also be used if applicable.
What if my insurance is not listed?
If your insurance is not listed, private-pay options may still be available. This can be discussed during your consultation.
Policy & Confidentiality
What is your cancellation policy?
At least 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or missed sessions will be subject to a $75 fee.
Is therapy confidential?
Yes. Therapy is confidential and protected by law, with limited exceptions related to safety or legal requirements. These will be reviewed during intake.
Are therapy sessions for emergencies or crisis support?
No. Therapy sessions are not intended for emergency or crisis situations. In the event of an emergency, please contact 911 or your local emergency services.
How can I contact you between sessions?
Non-urgent communication is welcome via email or voicemail. Messages are typically returned within business hours.
